To keep pace with the ever evolving business environment, we are always accepting resumes for Staff Accountants. This is an entry-level position ideally suited for someone who has just attained their four-year Accounting Degree but may not have a lot of experience. Staff Accountants usually begin their Rotz & Stonesifer, P.C. career focused on tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. As one gains experience, the Staff Accountant is cross-trained in the more complicated entity tax preparation, non-profit accounting, compilations, reviews, and audits. We support obtaining a CPA license and prefer this to be accomplished within the first three years of employment with our firm.

Our firm pays for continuing education of up to 40 hours per year or as deemed necessary by the job's requirements. Licensed professionals must attend 24 hours per year of in-house CPE while the firm will pay for the remaining 16 hours per year. The firm pays for all bi-annual CPA license fees and annual AICPA and PICPA dues for licensed professionals.

Internship Opportunities:

Our firm also sponsors an internship program for college students. These internships are available during the summer or throughout the academic year. Our staff usually includes one to two interns throughout the year. The interns are paid a competitive wage. Our firm fully cooperates in assisting the student to receive academic credit in addition to monetary compensation for the internship.
