Lynn C. Rotz, CPA
CEO, Founder & Managing Principal

Lynn C. Rotz, CPA is founder and managing principal in the accounting firm of Rotz & Stonesifer, P.C. located in Chambersburg.  He is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  Since the opening of the practice in 1986, Lynn has focused in the area of small business accounting, mergers and acquisition services, tax compliance and personal and business tax planning.  Prior to public practice, Lynn was a Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer for 4 years.  He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institute of CPA's and past member of several Pennsylvania Institute of CPA's Advisory Councils.  He also serves on numerous local non-profit boards.  The firm presently consists of 16 CPA's and 20 support staff.

Todd F. Stonesifer, CPA
Principal & Business Entities Group Manager

Todd Stonesifer specializes in providing accounting, auditing and tax services to small and medium sized businesses and non profit organizations.  He also has extensive experience with implementing complex accounting software packages, tax planning and compliance for various industries and estate planning for individuals.

Todd began his career in accounting with the international firm of KPMG Peat Marwick, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he gained extensive experience in planning and supervising financial audits and preparing multi state corporate income tax returns.  He specialized in construction contractors, financial institutions, and government entities.

 

Todd is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.  He has served as board member for various for profit and non profit organizations.  Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.

L. David Law, CPA
Principal & Business Entities Group Manager

David Law is responsible for providing accounting and tax services to clients in a wide range of industries. He specializes in business management and consulting, small business tax planning and high net worth individual estate and tax planning.

Prior to joining Rotz and Stonesifer, P.C. in 1996, David obtained five years of experience with firms in the Harrisburg area. His responsibilities included accounting and tax services for small and medium sized businesses and implementation of complex accounting software packages. He gained extensive experience with restaurants, manufacturers, and auto dealerships. 

 

David graduated from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Wanda K. Dietrich, CPA
Manager, Personal Income Tax Division

Wanda Dietrich joined the firm in 1989. She is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting. Wanda oversees the Personal Income Tax Division for the firm.  She specializes in individual income tax preparation. She also has extensive experience in providing accounting and tax services to small and medium sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to public practice, Wanda was a Staff Accountant at Wilson College and an accounting intern at Carlisle Hospital.  She is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.  She is a member of King Street United Brethren Church and previously served on the finance committee and as treasurer.

 
Randall E. Zook, CPA
Manager, Controllership Services


Randy Zook joined Rotz & Stonesifer in February 2006.  Randy oversees Controllership Services for the firm’s Small Business Group.  He has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Administration and five years in public accounting .  He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. 

Randy is a member of both The American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.  He has served as Treasurer on several non-profit boards.

 

He attends King Street United Brethren Church.

Robert D. Walker, Jr., CPA
Business Entity Tax Manager

Bob Walker brings over 17 years of public accounting experience to the firm. Bob began his career with a large regional firm with responsibilities including audit, review, compilation and tax services for businesses, governmental agencies and not-for-profit organizations. He also served as the Director of Finance for a museum in Harrisburg. Most recently, he has focused on providing accounting, tax and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses, individuals, non-profits and multi-state corporations.

Bob graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a member of both The American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Public Accountants and the Maryland Society of Accountants.

Tom Maurer, CPA
Auditing Manager

Tom Maurer brings over 33 years experience as a CPA to our auditing division. He spent the first 18 years of his career with a large national firm. The last 15 years, he has worked at regional firms in the South Central Pennsylvania area.

Tom has provided audit, tax, A-133 Single Audit and consulting services to local, regional, and national non-profit organizations. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and has served as a board member and committee member for many non-profit organizations. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College.

Tony Metz
Human Resources

Anthony J. Metz is our Senior Human Resources & Safety Consultant. Mr. Metz has over 20 years of Human Resources and Safety experience in the South Central PA area including Vice President of Human Resources and Lean at TB Wood’s Incorporated and Director of HR at Manitowoc Cranes. In addition he has been an adjunct professor at Shippensburg University. His education includes a Master’s degree from St Francis University of PA; a Bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University; and Senior Professional in Human Resources, Certified Compensation Professional and Certified Benefits Professional certifications.

Robin Despres
Manager, Payroll Department

Robin Despres joined us as Manager of our Payroll Department in 2007. In this role, Robin supervises the firm’s full service payroll department that provides the complete range of payroll and payroll tax service to clients.

 

Robin brings over 18 years of payroll experience in the public accounting arena to Rotz & Stonesifer. She began her career with Crossroad Business Services in Foxboro, Massachusetts as a payroll processor. After three years of service, she was promoted to Supervisor of the payroll department. In 2002, the business was sold to Baker O’Connor, CPA’s and she was promoted to Office Manager. In 2006, she assumed the role of Director of Operations with Baker O’Connor supervising a staff of seven.

 

In addition to her payroll and office management responsibilities, Robin was also involved with client retention and new business development activities to support the growth of the firm.

 

Robin is a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and is a member of The Chambersburg First Church of God.

 

 
 
Michael C. Buhrman, CPA
Senior Staff Accountant

Mike Buhrman joined Rotz and Stonesifer in September of 2006.  Mike is part of the firm’s closely-held business group and is a senior staff accountant.  Prior to joining Rotz and Stonesifer, Mike worked for a local accounting firm for 3 years. His responsibilities included providing audit, review and compilation services for not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities.  He also gained experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.

 

Mike graduated from Siena College, Albany, NY, in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chambersburg Rotary Club.

Fay A. Musser
Senior Staff Accountant & Office Manager

Fay was the first employee of the firm in December, 1986.  Fay also continues to provide a full range of administrative services for Rotz & Stonesifer.  Fay is a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

Fay has worked in the public accounting firm environment for 23 years.  Her extensive experience covers all levels of bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and payroll compliance.  She has maintained small business accounting systems for retailers, manufacturers, not-for-profits, auto dealerships and professional service organizations to name a few.

Daniel E. Shatto
Staff Accountant

Dan Shatto joined Rotz & Stonesifer in 2006.  He is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting.

Staff Accountant

Becky Reese joined Rotz & Stonesifer in 2006.  She is a graduate of Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Tom Scott
Staff Accountant

Tom is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He served as an intern with our firm for 16 months and joined the staff full-time upon graduation. He was a member of the Accounting Club and a college representative with the Institute of Management Accountants while in college. Prior to joining R&S, Tom worked in the accounts payable department for a large regional medical center as well as at his father's public accounting firm in Lewisburg, PA. Tom also volunteers with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Danley Shank
Staff Accountant

Danley graduated from Shepherd University with a dual degree in Accounting and Sports Recreation. He also earned enough credits for a third degree in Business Administration. He served a year-long internship with the firm and joined the staff full-time upon graduation. A native of Pond Bank, Danley was a member of the Chambersburg Trojans varsity basketball team that won the PIAA District 3 Championship in 2001. He went on to play basketball at Shepherd and has worked as an instructor at various basketball camps in PA, WV, and NC. Danley attends the King Street United Brethren Church.

Ashley McCartney
Staff Accountant

Ashley McCartney is a graduate of Shippensburg University. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Ashley joined Rotz and Stonesifer in January of 2009. Prior to joining Rotz and Stonesifer, Ashley worked for a local accounting firm for three years. Her responsibilities included providing compilation, review, and audit services for not-for-profit organizations. Ashley also gained experience with individual and business tax preparation.
